Dr. Pieper is experienced at launching programs to support economic development through ecosystem building for international business, innovation, and entrepreneurship. She is Assistant Director for Global Resources in the International Division at the Kansas Department of Commerce. In this role she actively engages with stakeholders in the international business ecosystem, including exporters. She has been a Certified Global Business Professional since 2017 and is on the Board of Governors of NASBITE International. Laurie earned her doctorate at UCLA.
